Meal Plan

The Meal Plan is available for students starting at the Infant Classrooms (for those that are able to safely eat table food), Toddler Classrooms, Progression Rooms and the Preschool Room. SSA provides a healthy morning snack and afternoon snack which is included in tuition. Students may enroll for lunch to be provided by SSA daily for $6 per day.

A small healthy snack will be provided in the morning and again in the afternoon. These snacks will be a small helping of a nutritious item. For example: apples slices and ranch or string cheese and whole grain crackers may be served.

Lunch is served Monday through Friday about 11:30a-noon. When enrolled in the lunch program each child is served a nutritious main dish along with healthy sides and water. Lunch will be based off of My Plate Recommendations. The cost is $6.00 per day.

If your child brings lunch from home, your child’s lunch must include items from each of the food groups. Your child is not required to eat it, rather, each of the food groups must be offered. We use the website My Plate for ideas, portions and options. SSA is required to supplement any missing food groups and will charge your child’s account $6.00 to cover the school food provided.

Infants that are not safe eating table food must provide all for their children to help with unknown allergies, abilities and growth.
